We went to the Dutch Creek Guest Ranch by Steamboat Lake for a fabulous dinner of fresh wild game. I had the best chicken rice soup. I am a bit young to be trying elk.Yes that is a carved bear we are standing by. We didn't see any bears but on special nights the elk can be seen from the porch at night. But we only saw them by the road while driving. It is hunting season and I am sure they know exactly where not to be - by the hunters.
