Baby Connor

Connor Joseph - Born in Indonesia on May 16th @ 1:15pm, 5.5lbs, 46 cm
Good night kisses from his big sisters
Our family
The girls came to the hospital and met their baby brother Connor for the first time on Saturday. Marin was SO excited. She couldn't wait to get her hands on him. And she didn't want to let him go. We had to convince her it was okay for someone else to hold him. She was very careful to be gentle and to make sure that he had lots of kisses from her. Bella gave him a few special kisses as well. Mommy is predicting a lot of fun to come in the future!

Tennis

We went to the mall for a surprise for the girls. They are always swinging their arms back and forth for golf and with these plastic rackets that we have. So Mommy & Daddy decided to buy tennis rackets for them. Bella was so excited she was swinging everywhere in the store. Now we will just have to see if we can do the same on the court.

Borrobudur - Indonesia

Borrobudur - one of the UNESCO world heritage sites in Yogyakarta. This was at the end of our 3 hour visit on the temple. The girls had a great time and were champions smiling for mommy's pictures and all the locals that wanted them too.
Bella and Marin were having a fun time with Roy. He was our tour guide for the weekend and became the girls baby sitter as Mommy and Daddy were busy delivering their new brother.
Here are the girls checking out the Buddha inside of the stupa. The girls were really fascinated with the buddha inside once they figured out he was in there.
Here is a buddha that is left revealed. The girls were fascinated.
What an adorable pose! Marin was mimicking Bella and I actually got the pics.
The girls were very popular with the locals. It took quite some time to get down the temple with all the picture taking. Marin burned out after awhile and Daddy got a bit tired too! But they take really great pictures.

Paramban Temple - Indonesia

We arrived to a huge rain storm and the site was a bit flooded. The girls loved playing in the water. Sightseers thought we were crazy but the girls were having so much fun. It took quite awhile to get them out of the water.
Paramban - Hindu temple in Yogyakarta
Marin wanted Daddy to clean the bottom of her shoes of the dirt before she would walk again. So patient Daddy kept cleaning her feet while she stood on his feet.

Making Mom cards

Daddy gathered up the girls for the annual Mother's Day card making. They enjoyed cutting and gluing. Bella has mastered drawing of a cross (a major milestone) so my card was full of beautiful crosses. Marin did much more pasting and Daddy over saw the masterpieces.

Zoo

We ended up at the zoo Monday morning in hopes that it wouldn't be too hot or too crowded. Unfortunately we had a lot of both. The highlight of the trip was Marin feeding the giraffes. She wasn't timid or shy she just grabbed the carrots and offered them up. I don't know about you but have you ever seen the tongue of a giraffe? It is really long and just about licked Marin all over the place. That was the first time she was a bit apprehensive about what was happening.

Bowling

Bella loved the shoes and not so much the bowling. We did a shoe dance for awhile showing everyone her cool temporary shoes.
Marin liked the bowling. She even carried the 6 pound ball to the lane herself.
Bowling!!
