Disneyland HK

A trip to Disneyland isn't complete without a picture with its main attractions. Micky and Minnie were decked out in holiday garb and getting everyone excited for the holiday season.

Thanksgiving

Our first Thanksgiving in Hong Kong. We had great company and lots of food. The bird was ordered fresh and flown in from the USA. All we were missing was the day off and football.

So cute. Bella and Annabelle share a kiss in front of the tree. We decorated early this year so we could share with the Patmans. Karina, Phil and Annabelle visited from Singapore. We ate and cooked all week. It was great fun!

The balls are not her favorite. She keeps crawling out everytime I put her in. Annabelle is in the background crawling out as well.

Mommy started weeding through xmas decorations. Bella was especially fond of the red beads.

Sedan Chair Race - HK

The Sedan Chair Race is for the Matilda Intl Hospital Charity Event. Bryan participated with DFS and helped carry one of the chairs. Supposedly it symbolizes when they used to carry patients up the hill to the hospital in the sedan chair. We are not sure many patients made it as the hill is quite large.

Every once in awhile Mommy gets a smile and a pose. Although it doesn't last for very long.

Now you can see him better. They were taking a break from the helmets and enjoying the fresh air.

Kowloon - Avenue of Stars

It was such a beautiful day in Hong Kong, Bella and Mommy decided to take a trip to Kowloon and go for a walk on the promenade.

Bella on the Star Ferry which crosses the harbour between HK Island and Kowloon.

Bella resting after walking up the steps outside the Space Musuem. We didn't go in we just stuck to the outside.

Bella's own version of Bruce Lee's karate! The Avenue of the Stars is similar to Hollywood's walk of stars. Although much smaller in comparison and the main attractions are Bruce Lee, where you can purchase your own bronze statue of the above, and Jackie Chan. You can see HK Island in the background.

Ah, what great sunsets all that pollution makes.

Sai Kung, New Territories

We took a road trip to the upper part of Hong Kong territory. We didn't get too lost.

Here is Bella learning to feed herself. Quite a milestone for her. She can take the food to her mouth and is still working on leaving it in her mouth.

Of course we like to practice walking everywhere. She is getting steadier on her feet.

Picking out possible food options for dinner, let's see fresh fish, crab, mussles.....

Trip

We took a quick trip to Vietnam to do a lot of shopping and see some sights.

Here is one of the pagodas in the middle of one of three lakes in Hanoi.

Bella wasn't really that interested in posing for the pictures.

Bicycle tuk tuk ride back to the hotel. An easy $3 after a long day on the feet.
