Halloween House

We went to see Grandpa and Nana for some gingerbread Halloween fun. The girls helped build the walls and decorate the house. It was a good time and we explored our creative skills. Too bad we had some trouble at the end....

Halloween Party

Our neighbors, Lina & Andy through their annual Halloween party. Everyone got dressed up and enjoyed the company, food, jumping and dancing!!

Phoebe, Bella and Marin had a great time in the bouncy castle.

Our family in costume - Mr Mustard, Samari Guard, Lady Gaga, Hamburgers x 3, Ladybug, Pig, Wizard, Butterfly, Robots and Ms Ketchup showed up to celebrate with the neighbors.

Bella was so adorable - She loves dress up so much that she just kept adding to hers from everyone elses. By the end she was a hamburger with an 80's rock flair with wild hair and and grecian goddess look. We all definitely support her creativity! Here she is holding a spider deviled egg and isn't too sure what to do with it.

Pumpkins

We carved pumpkins with our cousins Caleb and Jon Michael. Everyone helped by drawing their faces, cleaning out the insides and then cutting the faces out. All the kids, even Daddy, were able to use the cutting tools to do their own cutting. Well done everyone!

Marin's School Parade

Marin had a school parade on Friday. They paraded through the halls then performed 5 Halloween songs for the parents. It was very cute. Again Marin watched and was taking in her surroundings. Bella and Connor were on hand to give her support.

Trick or Treat Street

The high school put on a trick or treat street for the kids. We took the girls and Connor up for their first official US trick or treating extravaganza. The girls weren't really sure what was going on. They had their costumes and walked from door to door but were just staring in awe at all the other children dressed in costumes. We had a good time and being able to have a piece or two of candy at the end sort of made the connection of what was going on.

Marin was going along with the flow of action but wasn't too sure what the hype was about.

Bella found that she really likes peanut M&M's and knew enough to recognize the packaging. We had to open it up right away.

Playtime

Marin and Phoebe wanted to check out what keeps Connor entertained. It seems the play mat can keep more than just a five month old happy.

Weekend Crafts

Bella loves to play with tape. Mostly she just unrolls it and makes a long sticky rope.

Painting helped entertain the girls for a good afternoon!

Marin was showing off her new sunnies while making a very interesting brown design.

New Puppies

Nonnie & Uncle Chris have new puppies - Walter & Jackson. Marin is a big help with the dogs. She takes them out for walks and outside to do their business. She has fun being in charge.

Anderson Farm

On Tuesday all the cousins went to Anderson Farms to check out the barrel ride, hay maze, farm & pumpkin patch. This was Bella, Marin, Connor & Kahlan's first visit. Their cousins showed them what was the fun hot spots not to miss. And at the end everyone picked their own pumpkin and took it home.

Marin cracks us up when she puts her sunnies on - they are always on upside down.

Bella is a hard core reader - she even falls asleep mid page.

Hudson Gardens

We went to Hudson Gardens with Aunt Amy, Phoebe & Kahlan. The weather is beautiful and the aspens are beginning to change colors. We had a great walk through the flowers, to the pumpkins and then running through the maze. Bella was so sweet as she wore her twirling skirt the whole day.

Connor 5 months

Our guy is 5 months old. He has an adorable personality. He laughs and chats it up. He loves tummy time and when he gets tired he is able to roll from his tummy to his back. He has even taken to sucking his thumb. We used to see him on the ultrasounds sucking his thumb it took about 5 months to see it again.
