Zoo

Annabella takes great pride in being the owner of the map!  She did a great job leading us here and there.  We ended up seeing the elephants.  

Bella likes the elephants she is really good at pretending to have a long trunk with the elephant.

Bella decided to have a nice little seat right in front of the oldest animal in the zoo.

We went to the zoo with Joshua, Kiki and their mommy and daddy.  It was a hot day but really fun!

Weekend Fun

It was a long weekend here in Singapore.  We were jammed pack with loads of fun activities.  The girls of course entertained Daddy in the pool.  First at a birthday party and then at a friend's house for a cooling off.  

Doesn't Marin look so cute?  She has managed to get her head and upper body through the gates.  We are going to have to feed her more so that she isn't able to get too far.  

The girls always finish the day with Hi-5.  This has become the seat of choice.

Sister Play

This is a cute interaction between the girls.  I tried to catch as much as I could on video.

Steep Slide

This is the steepest kids slide I have seen at a playground.  The Singapore Botanic Gardens put in a treehouse with two slides.  Of course our girls went for the top one, sat inside and went for it!  They were so excited we just had to do it over and over.  Mommy was a little apprehensive as it looked really steep but I had a great time too!

Sloppy Joes

The girls had a great time eating sloppy joes.  They had a great handle on the whole bun concept.  Makes eating as a family a little bit easier.

Bella's Pictures

Bella and had a great time cruising the floor taking pictures and practicing her photo techniques.  She has quite the eye don't you think?

Play Date

Marin had her first go on Thomas the Train Merry-go-round.  She was a bit apprehensive but was very excited to back for a second go!

We met up with Zizo at the mall for cakes, shakes and the playground.  Marin was up climbing with the big kids and running around.  While Bella wondered about the play area taking pictures.  Those are in the next post.

Hi-5

Here we are on our way to Hi-5.  The girls didn't know where we were going but we got them very excited for the trip.

Of course Daddy carried both girls up to the show.  They preferred it that way.

We are waiting for the show to start.  The stage was all set up and the girls were waiting to see what was going to happen and what all the hype was about.

That is right we are at Hi-5!

Special Visitors

Princess shoes for Bella from Aunty Leah & Aunty Belinda.  Bella & Marin were in love with the high heels and quickly learned to gracefully float around the room.

Look at our glamorous princess in pink!!  Underneath were some really awesome pink high heels!

Wet Market Shopping

On Wednesday mornings we head out to the wet market to pick up our fruits and veggies for the week.  Then we rest for a lime juice from our favorite uncle.  This morning Bella was quite animated picking out the tomatoes and oranges.  They both seem to be just right at her level for grabbing.  Bella's favorite fruit right now is oranges so we end up with an endless supply in the basket.

First Day of School

Bella started school again at Swallows and Amazons.  She was very excited to don her hat and backpack.  She wasn't so excited when she realized I was going to leave her at school.  But she settled quickly and didn't want to go home when I went to pick her up.  

Pool Time

Bella was very specific that Daddy cover up just like her.  They were taking a snack break after bobbing up and down in the water.

Marin we had to drag out of the pool for a snack but then all she wanted to do was eat!

Favorite Seat

Marin loves to sit up on the step stool and have snack a drink and swing her legs back and forth.  She has also developed a liking to everything that Annabella uses, so of course she pushes Bella's booster seat around the floor until she finds just the right spot and then crawls in for a rest and a clap.
