Puddle Time

We decided to take advantage of the rain and cooler weather and take a long walk through the Botanic Gardens.  Bella and Marin and Mommy had a blast jumping in all the puddles.  Bella missed her gum boots but made sure to jump nice and high and splash as much water as she could.  Marin dipped her toes in too!  We were all having a grand time playing in the rain.

First popsicle - Even Marin wanted to see what was so exciting.  She didn't get a taste quite yet but Mommy is sure soon enough.

A little treat in between house hunting and moving - we went for dinner by the river.

Nonnie came a few days later to help out.  The girls are having a great time with all the attention.  In between Nonnie feeding, playing and reading - they are swimming and going to the park (on the cooler hours of the day).  Thanks for coming and helping out!  

In Singapore - Treetops

The girls found the shower the best part of the days activities.  It was a long day of flying and traveling but there was fun to be had at the end of the day.  Bella and eventually Marin danced in the shower and open and closed the doors about a hundred times.

We will miss you Hong Kong!

What an amazing view! The weather has been spectacular for our last week in Hong Kong!

Pressies

Aunty Leah gave Marin a great new back pack as an early birthday present. Marin loves to slug it over her shoulders and cruise around. I think Daddy will be in trouble with this bag loving girl!

Bella enjoyed the new princess umbrella and bag. She too is a bit dangerous for Daddy too!

Thank you Aunty Leah we will miss you greatly!

Marin

Mommy was finally able to catch Marin standing!! She is quite covert about standing on her own. So Mommy just waited. She is standing more and more on her own. It is quite cute to watch her get into position and pull her hands away one by one. She definitely has it!
Too cute to resist. Marin crawled up behind Daddy and sneaked between his legs just looking up. They were having a grand time and she would sneak behind and back in front again.

Junk Trip

Swim Daddy Swim!!

Marin really wanted to go swimming with Daddy and Bella. She looks like a real sailor with her tatoo on her right arm and the serious face.

Daddy was taking Bella to the beach. It looks really far away but it was probably only a 10 minute swim. Good for strong Daddy. Plus the water was a bit chilly so Bella and Daddy had to move around a lot to keep warm.

Bella secretly found and ate all the left over watermelon!

The end of a great day on the boat and beach. Marin had the right idea. We all needed to take a big nap.

Walking around

We had a nice walk along the beach promenade from Deep Water Bay to Repulse Bay. Finally the weather was clearer and more enjoyable to be outside. After our walk we had more time spent playing with all the cousins. And we really like the feather boas and princess tiaras. Phoebe was especially in the mood with her fashionable sunnies!

Trip to the Peak

We took a trip up to the Peak. The mountain was fogged in and rainy a bit so we enjoyed the cable car ride up, brunch and the ride back down. We hope for another day that is clear so we can share the views with our visitors.

Rain Day

We had a lot of rainy weather when Aunty Amy, Uncle Adam and Phoebe were here. One day we spent digging in the dress up box and playing in the house. Daddy got in on the action with the girls as well. Marin is really cute watching her big sister. She loves to put on the long necklaces just like Bella. And on this day she just had to have the blue backpack.

Pederson visit

Grammy left in the morning and Aunty Amy, Uncle Adam and Cousin Phoebe arrived in the evening of the very same day. Bella and Marin are having so much fun with their guests. And they are getting spoiled with loads of attention. Here are Marin and Phoebe getting to know each other. They started out by wanting each other's toys. It was quite interesting to see who was going to end up with what. Phoebe might be younger but she sticks up for herself.

Day 3 - Chengdu

The highlight of our visit was to the Panda Research Base. Grammy held a baby panda and Mommy held a red panda. The girls had fun watching the big black and white pandas eat and sleep. We finished the day in a tea house of course. Everyone was buggered and ready for a rest.
