Bella loves blowing bubbles. She is becoming more consistent with the quality of bubbles. Everyone has been encouraging her to play with bubbles. It is so rewarding for us to see her excited.
We celebrated summer birthdays with some cupcakes and new bikes for Marin, Bella and Jon Michael. It was Chandler's birthday too and he was presented with a Bronco jersey. The cupcakes were delicious and perfect for a summer party.
Her dress came special from her godparents. It was made for Lanae from a family designer over 17 years ago. Marin was stunning in the dress. She really made it work.
Marin and Bella share special godparents and family in the Drachslins. It was a special intimate event that we all enjoyed. Thank you so much for everyone that came out and shared in this special occasion: Mom & John, Dad & Jeri, Mom & Pop, Drachslin Family, Herskovits Family, Pederson Family, Chris, and Wittland Family. We appreciate your support and love seeing everyone.
After 5 long weeks of summer vacation the girls and Mommy were reunited with Daddy! The girls met Daddy at Denver International Airport. They weren't quite sure who they were meeting but boy were they happy and pleasantly surprised when Daddy greeted them at the top of the escalator. Daddy was so excited to see them as well. He came baring the cutest teddy bears! Each girl had the biggest snuggle with Daddy to show him that they were so happy to see him and missed him dearly.
Our last stop in Yellowstone was at Artist Point! And wowsers - what a sight! The canyon and falls were breathtaking. Bella was dancing (of course) and Marin was picking up rocks (of course) all around the gorgeous views.
Old Faithful Geyser that erupts every 90 mins or so. It spurts about 180 ft in the air and between 4500 - 8000 gallons of water each time.
Lanae and Alyssa entertained Bella while we were waiting for the Grand geyser to go off. Bella was having a blast dancing with the girls and quite frankly entertaining the entire crowd.
Mama look! The Grand geyser goes off in 3-4 spurts a time and shoots over 200 feet in the air. It only erupts every 12-13 hours. We were fortunate to see some of the best eruptions while we were in the park.
Bella seemed to reconnect with her shadow! She had a great time dancing and watching her shadow follow along. At one point we had to pick her up as she and her shadow were sharing in quite the long dance routine!
Alyssa and Marin shared a rainy moment Cody Wyoming the home of Buffalo Bill - outside the museum to the frontier past Bella was the cutest in her fireman rain coat and hat. She was so happy to have the hat on that she gave Mommy the biggest grin. Whoa Marin be careful you are giving Uncle Bob a fright! But boy what a view of the dam. The Dam just outside of Cody Wyoming marks the beginning of the "most scenic 52 miles" leading to Yellowstone. We had a great time playing in the rain and catching the amazing rock formations and river on the way into Yellowstone.
