Marin's First Steps

What a grand day! Marin has offically taken her first steps.  It is fantastic watching her face light up with glee.  She is so proud of herself for doing something she knows is a milestone.  We will keep practicing but it won't be long till Mommy & Daddy have two walkers on their hands.  Perfect timing....just in time for our 24 hour trip home.

Kicking

Bella, Marin and Mommy were playing this morning and Bella found a great way to entertain herself.  She was kicking the blocks all around the house.  Marin thought it was hysterical.  It is amazing how long we can kick blocks for.

Marin Standing

Marin turns ONE next week.  And she is standing solid on her legs.  She has been standing on her own for awhile but now really has control.  As you can see she is really excited to be standing.  It is so cute as she crouches and stands again.  It is fantastic!!

Tree House Play - Children's Garden

Since we left Singapore they put in an awesome Children's Garden at the Botanic Gardens.  The girls loved running/crawling through the grass and up and down the hills.  We spent some time in the tree house blowing bubbles and burning off energy.  Little Marin burns lots of energy as you can see by all the sweat or is it perspiration?  Bella practiced blowing bubbles and is becoming more consistent.  On the walk home the sky opened up and we had a fun walk home in the pouring rain.  Now where are the gum boots and umbrellas when you need them.

Playing the recorder

Grammy, Grampy, Nonnie, Aunt Amy, Uncle Adam, Daddy, Tara & Mommy have all been in Annabella's music band over the past year.  All the practicing has paid off.  Have a listen and cheer!

Jewelry

We are never too young to start wearing jewelry.  Bella is showcasing all her treasures!

Fun in the rain

Bella totally digs her pink fairy gum boots and princess umbrella.  She loves stomping in the water and not getting wet.  Or at least that is the idea anyway.  Her gum boots are of course a few sizes too big so we aren't walking anywhere too fast.

In little fashion, Marin joins the party with her own gum boots and umbrella.  

And we even get singing in the rain!  So much talent from our two girls.  There is never a dull moment.

Marin has to stomp in the water puddles and carry her umbrella!
