Day 2 - Chengdu

This was a long day in the car for everyone. But the views from the giant clay Buddha was very cool. Then we headed to one of the four holy mountains in China. We were troopers up the windy road. The girls ended up being the biggest spectacle as the local tourists wanted lots of pictures with them.

Chengdu City

We went to Chengdu, a part of the Sichaun province, in China to see the giant pandas. The first day we arrived we went to the town center and visited one of the temples. Bella was our master map reader. She made sure we were on the right streets consulting the map and pointing the right direction.

Crawling

Our little crawlers. Bella went back and forth amongst the obstacle course as Grammy and Grampy encouraged her on. Marin found a walker and practiced her steps. She is really coming along. Perhaps we will have a little walker on our hands soon.

Picture moments

Not another picture Mommy! Oh yes, mommy had everyone smile for cute pics in the play center. The girls had a great time playing with everyone. Marin did a little crawling. She was our little observer.

Slide with Grampy

Bella introduced Grampy to the slide at the club. It zooms down pretty fast. Grampy was great because he would carry her up the steps and zoom down the slide with Bella. He kept going and going, much like the energizer bunny. Though there was an end when Daddy let Grampy know that she tires out a bit faster if she is made to walk up the steps on her own. Ah, Ha!

Mission Hills with G & G

Grammy and Grampy are visiting from Cleveland. We went to Mission Hills for the adults to golf. And had a little fun with the girls. Bella and Marin had a little fun on the green waiting for everyone to finish. The girls are loving all the individual attention. Both Grammy and Grampy are taking turns spoiling each of the girls with loads of coloring and crawling.

Pushing the stroller

Marin loves to push the baby stroller. She wants to do it all by herself. It runs a bit too fast for her but she is learning to catch up quickly.
