Easter Egg Hunt

We had an Easter Egg/Candy hunt with friends in Hong Kong. The girls went to the park at the top of the peak and did a little search for candy before the rain set in. Bella found her favorite - a lolly pop. Marin wasn't sure what Mommy was asking her to do. She sort of went along with the program. Though when it came to eating the candy Marin wasn't all that interested. Bella joined in the egg hunt and even ran a bit with the egg on the spoon. That was all fun and games but the best part was throwing the egg on the ground and watching to see if it would break. Much to Mommy's demise the egg just didn't break. That is...until Bella smashed it between her fingers. Hmmm...go figure!

Princess Party

Bella went to Olivia's third birthday party dressed as a pink princess. She was so excited to wear her red shiney shoes and carry her umbrella. At the party we learned to mix the cupcakes and was even able to decorate her very own cupcake with loads of icing. She dove right into the icing first but did eat the cake too! Marin was an observer at the party. She wasn't sure what all the chaos was about. Soon enough she will be attending her own princess parties.

Trouble

Marin has a new love. She crawls up to the cabinet, opens the door and pulls out the DVD's one by one. She loves looking at them and throwing them on the floor. She can do it over and over throughout the day. It is hilarious.

Day 3 - Pool Party

We spent the third day in the pool. Marin had her first dip in a pool and Bella loved racing back and forth in the baby pool. After lunch, of which Marin had all over her face, we played in the big pool. The girls spent practiced jumping into the pool from the sides. Both girls loved jumping in and swimming to us and back to the wall. It was loads of laughs for the whole family.

Beach Fun

The second day of rest and relaxation was spent at the beach. Bella loved it! She took a long walk with Daddy then played in the water. Then she spent over two hours building sand castles with Daddy. It was excellent work with the shovel. Marin had fun in the sun. She had her first ocean experience and played in the sand with her sister and Daddy. We all took a long nap and returned for more fun in the sand and beach.

Grass Fun

Day one - it was raining a bit off and on so we walked around the resort and played in the grass. The girls aren't used to being able to walk on the grass and touch the flowers. The parks in Hong Kong are heavily policed by security making sure everything looks nice. In Hainan the girls were able to run on the grass without socks, crawl, roll and enjoy everything around us.

Hainan

We arrived in Hainan, the Hawaii of China, for a little R&R. The girls loved playing with the coconut necklaces. In fact, they went everywhere with us as Bella loved the necklaces and Marin loved putting it in her mouth.
