You can see the snow on the peaks in the background. Bella didn't know it could be so scenic on a swing. She has graduated to the big girl swing and loving every minute of it.
Marin is tucked in close on her first ever hike. She slept through most of it and let mommy do all the work.

Breckenridge

Family and friends joined us in beautiful Breckenridge for the weekend. In the middle of August we were happily (not really) greeted with SNOW! It was cold for a few days and then the sun returned and warmed us up for the rest of our stay.

Playing the guitar

Bella was first introduced to the guitar in music class. She really took to the strumming.
All smiles - we do think she is going to be musically inclined. She has a great voice and a love for musical instruments.

Godfather visit

Uncle Bob stopped through Denver to visit his godchildren Bella and Marin.
Bella wasted no time being shy she started right away building towers and counting each block.
They even went on a walk, Bella took Uncle Bob by the hand and showed him exactly where she wanted to go. They strolled up and down the neighborhood looking at shadows and ant hills. They were quite the explorers.
